Future of Fashion

In the forefront of the fashion world is one in my mind the most innovative and creative design houses of all time, Alexander McQueen. Futurism — a theme core to the Alexander McQueen aesthetic over the years. Towards the end of his life he worked towards a dark futurism of fashion. In the 2012 RTW fall runway Sarah Burton, the creative director of the house of McQueen tackled the same theme in a totally new direction. “It’s futurism with softness, not cold futurism,” (Sarah Burton)
